I downloaded one of your filters, http://openclipart.org/people/Chrisdesign/Chrisdesign_Brushed_Metal_Filter.svg
And it seems to crash any folder I put it into. I am running gnome 2.22.3 and ubuntu 8.04
Do you think it may be a gnome bug or is it just my machine?

Hello Chrisdesign,
Thanks to your distortion pack I was able to create a water filter. I just added some more filter primitives to add waves. It turned out pretty neat. It’s now in OCAL. Some more examples on its usability is in my blog (water waves and reflections on water).
I wouldn’t have done it without your great filter.

Hi Chris,
Thanks for your great web site. I’m interested in how you made the background for it. How did you do it?

Could you explain how and where to download the Inkscape filter files? (emboss, fire, smoke, and all of them)? I tried to download them and all that happens is that they open up as a file in Inkscape? Do I need to download to a special script-fu file? Thank you!

Hi, the download link for all of the filters at mediafire say “folder is private” and some of the individual links like the one for the very cool “Gel” filter are death. That’s sad, nice work, otherwise.

Hi, I want to make a color photo/pic into grey scale like a black and white, but instead using steel blue tones, like dark to light as like a black and white photo would be. is there a filter that can dop this?
